Personal Care Assistance
We strive to match our caregivers with a client so that they can benefit as much from the relationship they develop with the caregiver as the services the caregivers provide. It's more than just preparing a meal or providing a ride to the senior center: it's a regular social interaction with someone who cares... a friendship.
Home Care Assistance
Home Health Aides provide:
- personal care services that support activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and continence
- medication supervision and reminders
- preparation of healthy and delicious meals, following the dietary guidelines of the physician
- transportation for errands, shopping, appointments and social activities
- assistance with household tasks, such as laundry, changing linens, recycling and garbage disposal, and light housekeeping.
The home health aides at PTCT:
- have completed a course training them to work in the home of older adults
- are supervised by an RN who will contact you on a monthly basis to discuss the care status of your family member.
- are insured, and have appropriate worker's compensation
Our nurses will oversee the home health aide who is assigned to your family member.
